Fast Tips for Putting Your Swing On Plane:

Tip 1:

Make a 1/2 back swing. Consider where your left elbow is pointing, if it is pointing down towards your feet, your golf swing plane is too deep. If your left elbow is pointing out in front of the golf ball, your golf swing plane flat. For a good golf swing plane make sure that your left elbow is pointing towards the golf ball.

Tip #2:

Take a full backswing but pause at the peak of your swing. Relax your grip and allow the club to slide towards you. If the club correctly positioned, it should slide slowly onto of your right shoulder. If the club slides toward your  head or slides under your shoulder your golf swing plane is too steep or too flat respectively.

Tip #3:

Upon impact, you want the shaft of the golf club to be in approximately the same area as was in when you aligned it with the golf ball. If come out of your shots or stand up, the club is probably impacting golf ball above the correct swing plane line. Attempt or concentrate on getting your club back to the same area as it was in when you aligned it with the ball when you hit the ball and you'll soon be on your way to hitting more solid and consistent golf shots.
